So we got to the Daily Show too late, and even though we reserved tickets in advance, they turned us away. Boo! So now we’re at Michael’s apt staring at this adorable face! She’s no Jon Stewart but it’s a nice consolation prize. :)
Luckily I had plans lined up for us after the show. We were invited to an event at the South Street Seaport sponsored by Absinthe. Cocktails and hors d’ourves and a cirque du soleil-type show on the East River. Let’s hope it makes up for the Daily Show rejection!
