tidbits.
1. I just got a much needed haircut! Bye-bye split ends and hello cute new swoopy bangs! My locks feels exceptionally lighter and I love that my hairdresser is convenient, reasonably priced and wonderful. I also just purchased another pink CHI straightener because the one I had for FIVE years recently broke in half. Things are clearly looking up for my hair.
2. I saw Bill Maher’s new movie, Religulous last night with Melissa and absolutely LOVED it. I highly recommend it, especially if you’ve ever doubted your faith. The movie confirmed what I’ve always doubted about Christians, God, the bible, etc. that I’ve typically suppressed. (More on this later.)
3. I scored tickets to the Daily Show with Jon Stewart last week and we’re going tomorrow afternoon! He is one of the many loves of my life and I’ll make sure he knows it. According to the website, the guest for 10/14 is Ari Fleischer - Bush’s former press secretary - which should certainly make for an interesting interview!
4. I finally purchased a plane ticket to Houston and will be gracing my hometown November 26th thru December 1st. Can. Not. Wait.
5. This weekend, Michael, Whitney and I are driving to Philadelphia to volunteer for the Obama campaign!! PA is a swing state, so we’re doing our part to make sure our man gets elected. And after we do our good deed for the day, we’re going to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall…and hopefully a Target. :) YAY patriotism!!
