Whitney and I attended a Blackbook Magazine issue release party last night on the lower east side. Venue: a former art gallery turned dance club. Crowd: suits, hipsters, semi-attractive media people, girls like us. Drinks: complimentary dos equis. Entertainment: great music + a sword swallower, “famous” hula-hooper, and contortionists. Verdict: a fun way to spend a Monday night!
