Rainer Marie Rilke, from Letters to a Young Poet, which my dad gave me a copy of years ago. It immediately became one of my faves after I realized I had underlined practically every sentence in the entire book. I’m currently reading it again it as inspiration. I like to pretend that Rilke wrote those letters to me.
