I’m not really a fan of grocery stores. I can’t find it in me to spend more than 3 seconds in those cramped aisles and the crowds have made me shove a grandma or two. But while walking to my favorite health food store on the Upper East this evening, I decided to stop at the large market buried beneath the Queensboro Bridge several blocks from my apartment - just to satisfy my curiosity. And I was absolutely stunned - it was gorgeous! Everything was chic and clean and spacious, something I’ve never seen in an NYC gro sto before. It could definitely make the process an enjoyable one. And my god, look at those ceilings!

…also: did I just blog about a grocery store?!? I need some new material.
