Just thought this article comparing the growth of Houston and New York was interesting and quite relative. I already knew that if I was making my current salary back home in Houston, I could live like a queen - spacious low-rent apartment, nice car, justified shopping sprees. Here, my paycheck only goes so far. Living in this city means making sacrifices, but I wouldn’t trade my life for the world right now.
…and luckily, I still feel like a queen :)
