For the last few weeks, my MacBook has only worked when it was plugged in and not with the battery alone - making it more of a desktop than a laptop. So I finally made my way over to the 5th Ave. apple store so they could diagnose my computer with a broken heart. Since my warranty was up 4 months ago, I had to purchase a brand new battery - $140 I was NOT ready to spend. But it helped that Whitney was there to rationalize my thinking that “for only $1700 more, I could just buy a new MacBook Air.”
Now my computer is up and running on its own again, and I am glad to be back inside out of the fickle weather (it’s ohsocold and anti-spring today, wtf?!) I plan on spending the rest of the day curled up on the couch drinking my iced vanilla latte, watching bad television and playing on my born-again MacBook :)
