I spent most of my evening braving the cold (once again) and shopping in Harold Square. Its usually a pleasant walk from my work to 34th St & 6th Ave, but not on nights like this - I had to keep popping in and out stores along the way to defrost. I even went to Starbucks at 8pm, which, under normal circumstances, would be a bad idea for my sleeping habits, but I opted for decaf. A first in my book.
My shopping trip resulted in an entire new SUMMER wardrobe. Yeah, you heard me. I bought 2 dresses, shorts, a bathing suit and flipflops!! What can I say? I’m a dreamer. My new purchases WILL come in handy for Florida though. AND New York…when seasons decide to change…
Tomorrow’s going to be a long Friday, but alas, I’m headed to bed so I’ll be ready for it.
